What do we do?
Sectra Communications has a core expertise in encryption technology. We provide secure communication solutions, approved by the EU and NATO, for European government authorities, defence departments and other critical functions of society. Sectra was founded in 1978 and has its roots in Linköping University in Sweden. Today, Sectra has offices in twelve countries and operates through partners worldwide.
This is your opportunity to test your skills in a real world environment. We are looking for people dedicated to building state of the art secure communication tools or to perfecting our embedded systems development methods. The pace is high, the demands are rigorous and the spirit is strong. If you think you would fit in our team, we would like to meet you to explain more about what we do and how we work.
Your profile and skill set
At Sectra we hire you more for who you are and your will and ability to learn, than for your previous experience. We expect you to be well-educated and have good grades, but also to have a sense of humor when that is appropriate (life is too short not to have fun). If you are the right person, and a fast learner, we will have no problem teaching you what you need to know.

- Experience in Linux and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Speak more languages than those required above
Have other skills, such as;
- Have a pilot's license (we have many pilots at Sectra who fly to our customers).
- Sing, play musical instruments, etc. We have a lively music tradition at Sectra.
- Have a background in sports.
But most of all we are looking for an open, passionate person who shares our values and is a true team player who will enjoy working with the rest of us at Sectra. Read more about working at Sectra Communications!
