Quality of service for secure IP telephony

Normal commercial systems for IP telephony usually include methods and tools for analyzing and measuring speech quality on ongoing calls. The measurement data collected can be used, for example, to switch to a more narrowband speech coder when the bandwidth in the system begins to run out. Systems with end-to-end encryption do not offer the same option to analyze and measure ongoing calls. The goal of this Master Thesis is to define criteria for quality of service (QoS) in such systems and to evaluate how surveillance functions for QoS can be implemented in the server infrastructure. Knowledge of networks and IP telephony is considered a merit.
